Members will be able to post information concerning their writing careers, techniques, division news, and news of NFB happenings in general. In the coming months look for content to be posted in various media. Besides articles and information blog posts can contain URLS to allow visitors to access related content. By activating links to blog posts visitors will be able to add comments.
The blog search feature allows one to search for particular blog entries. Entries can also be categorized for faster lookup. Keywords and a cloud tag feature are also available. We will post additional tips and tricks to help our bloggers get the most out of this dynamic enhancement to our World-Wide Web Site.
Since blogs can be a source of spam visitors will be excited to learn that we employ a technique to stop spam bots that requires no interaction by visitors. Accessibility is not compromized as is often the case when CAPTCHAS are used. All checking is done in the background. We are pleased to introduce this technology to our bloggers and will implament it wherever needed on other parts of our Web site. Additional enhancements to strengthen spam and bot protection will be added in the coming months.
